NFC, or Near-field Communication might sound like an alien word for lots of people, but it’s use is unexpectedly broad: Services like ApplePay and Google Walled make use of it to process its payments and many public transport providers (like the London and Brussels Metro) make use of its high security standards to issue tickets.
